Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China jointly released the national standard GB/T 26500—2025, "Structural Types, Main Dimensions and Basic Parameters of Plastic-Lined Composite Steel Pipes and Fittings." This standard will replace the 2011 version and will officially come into effect on March 1, 2026. As a core industry standard under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Non-Metallic Chemical Equipment, its revision was led by Refractory Group Co., Ltd., in conjunction with several other leading companies in the industry. This marks a new stage of high-quality development in the standardization of plastic-lined pipes and fittings in my country.
